Still home to one of Turkey’s largest Jewish communities, with a synagogue dating back to 220 BC, visit IZMIR and see the Beth Israel and Senora synagogues.

 

Visit SARDIS, home to the ruins of one of the largest, and most ancient, synagogues of antiquity and the city of Ephesus boasting Hebrews signs and symbols among its remains as one of the world's most comprehensive ancient sites. See the ancient lonia cities of Priene and Miletus’ ruins that are haunting, evocative and intriguing, some adorned with Hebrew script.
